A hearing on Dyslexia in the US House of representatives

Dyslexia: News from the web:

From time to time we may all wonder what these folks in the Capitol are up to but today they are working to figure out where we are on Dyslexia. The Committee on Science, Space, and Technology will hold a hearing entitled The Science of
Dyslexia.

The purpose of this hearing is to understand the latest scientific research in dyslexia, to discuss
promising future research directions and promising treatments for people with dyslexia to
overcome challenges they face, and to explore educational opportunities for students with
dyslexia in fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Witnesses will
testify on their personal experience with dyslexia or how they helped others overcome this
challenge through innovative and creative problem-solving.

We’ll wait for the outcome, should be interesting.
