We are not sponsored by Dynaread but we need to talk to you about them. This company, who offers reading remediation for children with Dyslexia in 200 lessons, has an extensive library online with information and resources related to the learning disability.

Now as reading is not the strong point from the target audience they have updated their site with Ivona Text-to-speech technology. When you browse their site you will be presented with a red “listen” button that will give you the story verbally. It sounds really well and probably as good as my talking GPS in the car.

In the library they offer articles, explanations and some videos.

Dyslexia and reading the impossible

Today we bring you a link to the blog from Abigail Marshall, who is the Webmaster & Internet Information Services Director for Davis Dyslexia Association International.

She presents a picture with at first sight scribbles but at later reflection a message. Her point is that learning to read should focus on whole word pattern recognition to make deciphering easy for our mind.
