Please go to change.org and sign the petition to get congress to require that testing agencies grant accommodations for dyslexic students so that high stakes tests assess ability and not disability, and students are allowed to go forward and succeed in life. High stakes tests must be reliable, valid and accessible to dyslexic children and adults. Without accommodations, highly capable, intelligent students are being denied the opportunity to show what they can achieve. Click HERE

Peggy Stern, The academy award winning celebrity, has started a project to create Dyslexia-Ville. Dyslexia-Ville will be the world wide safe haven for dyslectics and there will be a web series to support the initiative.

She has assembled a group of specialists around her to get the project going and Jay Leno, who also struggled with Dyslexia his whole life, has kindly made tickets available for top sponsors of the project.

New eBook Released Helps Parents Homeschool a Child with Dyslexia

Dyslexic students aim to break world reading record

Twelve students from Colorado Springs participated in a 500-student reading relay aiming to break the previous world record of 415 people reading a single book at one time.

The book, Sword of Darrow, is written by Hal Malchow and his son Alex, who also battles severe reading disabilities. It is a fantasy novel filled with stories and characters specifically written for those with dyslexia.
