The Caldwell Parish School District announced that families with children ages 8–17 who are struggling with reading or spelling can apply for free after-school support through the Dyslexia Training Program.
According to officials, the program offers small-group tutoring led by trained instructors.
The program focuses on the following skills:
- Phonics
- Decoding
- Fluency and Spelling
Organizers say students will attend five hours per week and follow the school calendar.
Applications are accepted year-round. Families can apply by scanning the QR code on the flier or by contacting the program at 318- 487-4986 or dyslexia@la-mason.com.
